Bishop Hugh Gilbert launched THIS IS OUR FAITH for the Diocese of Aberdeen in the Bishops' House, Aberdeen on Monday 6th February 2012. The Launch event began with prayers and hymns led by pupils of various schools in the city. Speakers included Bishop Hugh, Michael McGrath, Director of SCES, Louise Lacaze teacher at St Joseph’s PS and Pat Pritchard, Diocesan RE Adviser. This was followed by a reception for guests who included representatives of parishes, schools and Councils from across the Diocese.

Fr Stuart Chalmers, Vicar General, represented Bishop Hugh at a similar event held in St Ninian's Church in Inverness on Tuesday 7th February 2012. The event, which followed a similar format to that held in Aberdeen, was well attended by parents, teachers, parish catechists and clergy.
