Funding for anti-sectarianism projects
- 27/08/2007
- Categorized in: SCES News
The Scottish Executive has invited applications from schools to fund anti-sectarianism projects. Projects should aim to do one or more of the following:
- raise awareness of sectarianism;
- improve pupil's understanding of these issues;
- have a positive impact on pupils' attitudes in relation to anti-sectarianism.
Bids can be made for projects involving individual schools or groups of schools.
The deadline for applications to be made by education authorities is 28 September 2007. Projects are intended to start after 1 November 2007. While schools should approach education authorities for further details, a briefing sheet and application form can be downloaded here.
