Pope says that true peace is not free from division
- 20/08/2007
- Categorized in: SCES News
CNA reports that Pope Benedict XVI told the faithful in the Angelus of Sunday 19th August that“The peace that Jesus brings is the fruit of a constant struggle against evil." And he explained that that struggle can result in division. The Holy Father was referring to the day’s reading from the Gospel of Luke (12:51-53) in which Jesus presents his mission of bringing peace to the world.
